Dabangg 2

“Kothe pe jane se pehle hum nachaniya ke baare mein pata laga lete hai”

Chulbul Pandey makes it sure, but did you? As if you are expecting something logical or artistic from Salman, you are doing the biggest mistake of your life. From last two year he is enacting Salman on the big screen & he is performing it with excellence. Some are natural performer, some are method actor. But in case of Salman, it could be said as the buffoonery comes naturally to him. It suits his persona very well.

Dabangg 2 just moves to a bigger town. So naturally the style, action, & budget also goes bigger this time. But neither the first one has any story to tell, nor this one. It’s the same old saga where good meets evil. and good wins. Abhinav turns the story slightly in first where grey meets bad. And same thing happens with second one too. Chulbul Pandey is one raunchy, raw & grey kind of cop yet lovable that makes him such a salable character. And who else except Salman could play this character in town.

Writing anything about Dabangg 2 or any other Salman movie from last two year is just writing about Salman. If you are writing or telling anything else than you are misguiding. Making a Salman movie now a days is just that what new you can ask him to do. Dabangg series has make him a close competitor for Tom Cruise. If anyone looks more cooler than Salman in those aviators is only Top Guns Cruise, no one else. Whether he is wearing it on face, or on back of collar, everything seems just perfect. Here in this movie he will teach you some new style that how to wear glass through legs or from back of a girl. And as far as acting is concern in his own dialogue “Kya chauchak performance diye hai aap” If you are in the business for more than 20years, at least you can play yourself perfectly on screen. And that’s what Salman is doing.
For Sonakshi, neither she needs to act nor she does. She just smiles, frown & looks simple Indian house wife, who could play a perfect prop for songs. Prakash Raj is one hell of a actor but he could be placed just next to Arun Govil in getting type cast. He gets same kind of role in every Hindi film. Vinod Khanna & Arbaz tries to look more lovable than previous fare. More accurately speaking Arbaz is kind negligible in the film. Deepak Dobriyal is wasted. Sandeepa Dhar never get chance. Nikitin Dheer just acts as the six pack for Prakash Raj.

Arbaz as director is as impressive as Arbaz as actor. He just knows the Salmania accurately. How to make a good formula film having Salman in equation. Otherwise he could choose a much better story to tell. Otherwise he just change the marriage venue for same marriage function. He almost uses the same tone of music with exactly same tone of melody. He doesn’t leave a single stone unturned to make it equal to the first one. He brought all the likable character & dialogue back. Right from “Bhaiyaaji smile” to “itne ched karenge”. Even he brings Munni back for a cameo. He tries to be funny, emotional even preachy. But nothing leaves effect.

Music as said earlier is just to remind you that you are watching a sequel to Dabangg which has this kind of music. Every song can be replace with one song of last film, & than also the fitting will look perfect. Salman doesn’t needs choreography as he doesn’t need direction. Action Sequence is one thing which could be applauded.

Overall, Dabangg 2 is a must watch or a multi-watch for die hard Salman fan. Otherwise rent a DVD of any old classic for this Christmas.

Rating- Two Out of  Five

Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi

In today’s day when there are many number of channels where each channel has its own aspect to fulfill. There is news channel, music channel & many others. But back in 80’s when there is only one channel Doordarshan & it has more number of viewer than any other channel in today’s date. So to entertain these many people with one glance is most difficult work to do. And the critics say too that, to make laugh is the most difficult job to do. But a sitcom, which could be said as one of the first among many to follow both in genre & other, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi proves to be a complete entertainer.
And it doesn’t belong to the boundaries. It goes well beyond overseas too. In those days also people use to wait for its DVD’s in parlors in UK, as Wiki page says. If I haven’t watch the series myself, maybe for once I’ll call it as a metaphor but after watching it, I could say that yes it is one of the best sitcom ever played on small screen. It has genuine laugh to offer. It brings comedy from the daily routine humor. The character artists make you laugh just on the basis of their supreme talent. And I want to mention one thing pretty clears here, that if there is no Satish Shah here in this series, it would not be the result what it is today. The cult status this series has is just because of Shah, as he will make you giggle every time you watch him on screen. You will wait for him to enter the screen in any character.
Basically Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi is based on Comedy of Error. Its central character Ranjit, Renu & Raja played by Shafi Inamdar, Swaroop Sampat & Rakesh Bedi respectively are in the role of husband, wife & brother-in-law. Satish Shah entertains the audience with different character & may be because this he was able to showcase his talent on such a grand case. Watching the show it feels that there is no one else can play those parts with such an ease as Shah does. He is hilarious, magical & yet in the skin of the character. Sometime one gets the feel that it is Shah’s show & the other three are providing the support whereas the case is just opposite. There is many other names too in supporting cast like Tiku Talsania, Sulbha Arya, Vijay Kashyap, Anjan Srivastav. After 23 episodes Safi Inamdar gets disappear from the show as it is shown that he is out of country. In that period Farida Jalal enters the screen as Chachi with Reena Wadhwa as her daughter, Rashmi. There are some celebs for guest appearance in single episode like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Satish Kaushik. As it also Kundan Shah as one of the director, many character artists from the serial Nukkad also make guest appearance in different episode like Pawan Malhotra, Sameer Khakkar & others. Javed Khan is there for many episodes as Jhumru, a servant to Chachi.
However the feel which came having Ranjit, Renu & Raja in stories never came across in the time of Chachi. Javed Khan irritates most of the time. But one man who never let down the show & its feel is Shah. I want to mention some lines from different episode which I love the most. Most of these lines are mouthed by Shah’s character only. These are as

  • Main jo sochta hai wo hota nahin, jo hota hai wahi sochne lagta hai (Satish Shah delivers these lines in South Indian tone & every time jumbling the words up. So it adds up the humor)
  • Main ghoom ghoom ke tumhare liye Sanjeevni Booti dhund raha hun (Though these line are used by Shah’s character playing Doctor this time, to consolidate the Ranjit who is acting like Anand’s Khanna, but it turns humorous because of Shah’s style of delivery)
  • Haath milaiye, main bhi usse pyar karta hoon (Deliver by Raja as he falls for the same girl for whom Shah is already crazy)
  • Uncle bataiye aur kya kya pack kara doon (Raja ask Shah who is playing a thief this time that what else he wants in ransom)
  • Pehle admission do baad mein bachche paida karenge (Ranjit on his future planning for his child’s admission)
  • Bachchon ki duniya hai baba, bachchon ka hai mazma (Shah as a toy seller uses these lines as a song to attract the crowd)
  • Darwaza kholo mujhe tumhe goli marni hai (Eccentric Ram Bhai played by Shah asks to open the door as he wants to shoot Raja)
  • Gair kanooni dhang se ticket lena kanooni hai (Shah, as a cop who used to forget the words in between a line)
  • Yeh kya ho raha hai (Deliver by Talsania in his unique way of delivery)

Every character plays their part too well. In start you feel that Inamdar & all are pretty average against Shah, but you get to feel that they are just get overshadowed by Shah nothing else. One misses Inamdar as Ranjit like Renu misses him. Inamdar & Sampat’s chemistry is a top notch. They played their part with so perfection as you get attached to them. I like to mention some episode here where they leave their effect in spite of Shah’s presence.

  • Cancer – In this episode Ranjit gets someone else’s report who has cancer. So he get to think that he has cancer & start acting like Anand’s Khanna. Shah provide adequate support as Bachchan like doctor. There is a scene where Ranjit ask him to laugh whenever he feels to cry and Shah provide immense laughter in those scene.
  • Truth or lies – Here Shah gets very little screen space. So the main three have enough chance to giggle the audience. Especially Inamdar as Ranjit tickle your funny bone heavily in a serious gesture.
  • Marital Rift – Based on daily husband & wife quarrel. So it has to be them as the lead. Shah enters as Ranjit’s father.
  • Cooking Range – More on emotional quotient, this episode is more on understanding in family. Shah reprise his role as Ranjit’s father
  • Time is Money – Episode solely based on Ranjit supported by Renu & Raja
  • Boy Friend – Renu tries to woo Ranjit as he is giving her lecture for being more liberated. Though Shah acts as Renu’s boy friend. But it’s Renu & Ranjit who plays the lead seriously.

A lot has been said about Shah already in the post. But it will be incomplete to mention his best among best character which is must to see. They are as

  • Lawyer in very first episode Divorce.
  • As south Indian father in The South Indian Marriage episode
  • Already discuss Cancer episode as Doctor
  • As Keshwani in Women’s Liberation episode part 2 where he is shown cleaning Rice along with Ranjit. He bring house down in 2-3 minute of performance trying to find diamond in rice.
  • As Mishra in Unwanted Guest episode
  • In Rambhai Shyambhai episode he plays double role. But its Rambhai snatching sleeves from his mouth at regular interval that makes unforgettable appearance.
  • As eccentric  professor in Jhumru becomes smart episode
  • In Raja’s interview episode he touch the highest peak of his performance as a pretending officer, originally a failed actor. He deliver every line with some gesture or act.
  • In Instant Solution episode he plays plays triple role. But it was the role of actor who get caught in the role of Shahjahan that makes highest impression.

In Rashmi in Love & Mary episode he imitates Ajeet & Rajesh Khanna so effectively that it looks as a part of character.

Rakesh Bedi also provides terrific support along with Shah. He provides either punch or base to hit punches on him. He is their in every episode along with both Chachi & Ranjit. Vijay Kashyap & Sulbha Arya as Mr & Mrs Bhattacharya, a Bengali neighbor, hits the top spot whenever they get chance, specially in episode Bhattacharya’s act, Renu Misses Ranjit etc

It’s direction is done by Raman Kumar, Kundan Shah & Manjul Sinha. The later two also involves in the direction of Naya Nukkad. Both serials tries to make heavy social comment. But in case of Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, the tone is lighter & message is as effective as in Nukkad. The lead character have their doors & windows open as their heart through out the serial which shows the simplicity & faith people have in those days. It also shows other part of life in those days which are borrowed heavily in coming day’s serials like neighbor asking for sugar, background laugh on punches etc. Some time background score is borrowed from Hollywood movies like Chariots of fire.

Sharad Joshi’s script is always on target. To make people laugh first time in a time interval of 22-23 minute, with scripts which make effect in coming future also is itself speak of its own. To write a cult show in very first time is already speaking of the talent in high volume.

Overall, if you want to watch an original, genuine comedy series, go for this. Some of the episode have greater repeat value than many of the films released now a days. And for a final time, take a bow Satish Shah.

Bollywood In 2012

2012 is a pretty mixed up year for Bollywood. I’m not going here by the business of the movie, because in that case this year Bollywood has seen lots of 100 Cr. movies. But I’m talking, rather content wise, class wise, which goes up & down with every release. We have seen some reality based hard hitting drama like Gangs Of Wasseypur, a classic biopic in form of Paan Singh Tomar, some fresh stuff like Vicky Donor, even Psychological thriller Talaash. But than we have also witnessed a pretty bad remake of classic GolMaal in Bol Bachchan, lots of action without plot movies like Ek Tha Tiger, unnecessary remake of South Movies like Rowdy Rathore, even pretty unnecessary sequels of movies like Jism, Jannat, Raaz, Housefull. The most important thing to mention here is that 100 Cr. films constitute of movies from second group.
So overall, it’s the Indian viewers who are responsible for making films a franchise without any need. They are going to watch the movie just because of Star Value, which has continuously degraded the quality of Indian Cinema in last 2 years. The new & fresh kind of movies gets acclaims but not the economics, so that more & more Directors could get inspired to do such films. Rather it has forced Directors to come up with pretty bad stuff. We have again moved into the Formula Zone. Where movie making gets simpler by just adding 4-5 chart busters, some good action sequence with a star in frame & if you have some punch lines than it is more than enough. Will we compete with International Cinema like this, which is going to make more & more inspirational, real or futuristic cinema day by day? Some people use to say that main objective of Cinema is to entertain the audience. So do the unusual stuff & action-comedy is the new definition of entertainment. We used to have Nav Ras which constitute of different emotion used as means of entertainment. But we have forgotten all that.

So we are winding up this article by listing Top 5 movies of the year. And it goes like that :-

1. Paan Singh Tomar

It should be on the top of the list as it is one of the finest Biopic ever made in Bollywood. It is well handled as other biopic produced by the Nation are pretty slow paced or falls heavily in art cinema. But this venture from Tigmanshu Dhulia is real yet entertaining. Than Irfan Khan in the star cast make it must watch for the viewer from any part of the world. Also it tries to focus the condition of athletes in the country, which is still in pretty bad form.

2. Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 & 2

The story of family vengeance shows in true color in Kashyap’s epic drama. It is one the true Hindi film which certainly needs sequel to tell a story. It is based on Coal Mafia’s & politician’s relation post independence to present day through two family’s rivalry. It has many fine performances with lots of punching line embedded with many other emotions other than revenge. Read the complete review here

3. Kahaani

Kahaani is one of two films in Indian Cinema which works on it script & performance, though having just a female lead. The first one is Khoon Bhari Maang by Rekha. Here also there is now male actor to recognize or who can deliver a hit. It is just Ms. Balan’s superlative performance & Sujoy Ghosh’s direction which make the movie such a hit among audience & critics.

4. Barfi!

Barfi by Anurag Basu, an Academy Award Entry from India this year, though criticize later for various Hollywood mix up stands perfectly on the performance of it’s lead cast. It gives India it’s tramp in form of Ranbir. It could be said as a well adapted tale constitute of scenes & score borrowed from various movies. Read the complete review here.

5. Talaash

Again a well adapted story from three different Hollywood movies. It also works because of it’s performances, screenplay & it’s new kind of genre in Bollywood, especially a mix up of Supernatural & Psychological thriller. Read the complete review here.

If I could get at least 10 movies to sum up the list, I would surely go for it. But after these five I only get three more i.e Oh My God, Vicky Donor & forcefully Agneepath. Other than these names, I can’t get other name to sum up the ten. That’s why I’m rounding it up with Top 5

I want to mention Top 3 Hollywood releases in India, here as a complete movie buff

1. The Dark Knight Rises

2. Life Of Pi

3. Avengers

Hopefully, next year we will get to see much of fresh stuff like these 8. Audience may come out of their heavy affection towards star brand movies. So enjoy watching movie. Adieu 2012, welcome 2013

Top Dialogue Based Movie of Bollywood from Last 100 years

Bollywood movies are known for its high melodrama, songs, dance, over the top action & Dialoguebaazi. It is the intense dialogue which gives the Indian Hero’s larger than life image an edge. Some time it is the unique style which makes some dialogue immortal. Actors like Raj Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Ajeet, Pran & Amitabh Bachchan are some of the actors who can make any dialogue immortal, by their unique style of dialogue delivery. There are some others also, like Anil Kapoor & Sharukh Khan who is known for their single dialogue Jhakkaas & Kkkkiran particularly. These are some example to name.

Bollywood have some repeating dialogues which occur periodically in every second or third film like Mujhe Bhagwan Ke Liye Chod Do, Apne Aap Ko Kanoon Ke Hawale Kar Do etc. But there are certain dialogues which are made to be immortal like Sara Shehar Mujhe Lion Ke Naam Se Janta Hai etc. There are too many posts on web of such dialogue. So here we will talk about Top 25 movies which have too many of such dialogue in single film. Or in other words Top 25 movie which can be enjoyed on audio cassettes only. We will not rank them in any order. It is just ordered according to the year of release. So here we go.

1. Waqt-1965

The first movie which came in my mind is Waqt which have lots of such dialogue at regular interval. Starring Raj Kumar & others Waqt has some memorable dialogue which will never lose it’s essence like
Yeh bachchon ke khelne kee cheez nahin, haath kat jaye to khoon nikal aata hai,
Chinoy Seth….Jinke apne ghar sheeshe ke hon woh doosron par pathar nahi phenka karte etc

2. Anand-1971

Anand is one film in the entire article which consists of dialogue touching the reality of life. It is not larger than life, it is what life is. It is philosophy of life, through the words of Anand, it’s central character played by Rajesh Khanna to the perfection. Right after the word BabuMoshay, everything seems pretty magical yet real, like
Zindagi badi honi chahiye lambi nahi,
Zindagi aur maut uparwale ke haath hai jahanpanah. Usse na toh aap badal sakte hain na main. Hum sab toh rangmanch ki kathputhliyan hain jinki dor uparwale ki ungliyon main bandhi hain. Kab, kaun, kaise uthega yeh koi nahi bata sakta haietc

3. Zanjeer-1973

Movie starring Amitabh, Ajeet & Pran can’t miss this list. These three can make any Dialogue immortal like,
Is ilaaqe mein naye aaye ho sahab?, varna Sher Khan ko kaun nahin jaanta
Jab tak baithne ko naa kaha jaaye sharaafat se khade raho, ye police station hai, tumhare baap ka ghar nahi
Sher Khan ne shaadi nahi ki to kya hua, lekin baaraatein bahut dekhi hai
Hum aaya to tha karza lene, lekin tumne Sher Khan ko hi khareed liya
Mona jis tarah kuch aadmiyon ki kamzori baimaani hoti hai, usee tarah kuch aadmiyon ki kamzoree imandari hoti hai
It is the movie which gives Bollywood its angry young man.

4. Roti Kapada Aur Makaan-1974

It is one of those under rated movie which has the capability to become memorable in terms of dialogue but may be due to some unknown reason it loses that. But for me it has some memorable dialogue at every interval, after every second or third scene. Dialogue ranging from philosophical to extreme romantic to preachy like
Ye mat socho de desh tumhe kya deta hai, ye socho ki tumne desh ko kya diya,
Tumhari ramayan mein ram nahi, meri ramayan mein seeta nahi,
Goli tumhe lagi, mujhe lagi ek baat hai,
Jab tum pasand ho to tumhari har pasand pasand hai
& it goes on like that

5. Sholay-1975

Movie that starts the trend of audio cassettes consisting of dialogue only. It is one hell of movie where simple line like Kitne aadmi the? turns out memorable just because of it’s unique delivery by Amjad Khan, Dharmendra or Amitabh. It has most number of memorable lines than any other film. Lines like

Sardar maine aapka namak khaya,
Tumhara naam kya hai Basanti,
Mujhe faltu baat karne ki aadat to hai nahi
Itna sannata kyun hai bhai
Poore pachchas hazar
& many more are so normal yet memorable due to this film

6. Deewar-1975

Deewar has some of the most ironic & iconic dialogue at the same time. Right from the word go, it has some larger than life which can mouth any dialogue. It has dialogue for each & every character. Let it be Vijay who says
Main aaj bhi pheke hue paise nahi uthaataa Dabar Saab,
Jao jaake pehle us aadmi ka sign lekar aao, jisne mere haath par yeh likh diya,
Peter tum log mujhe bahar doondh rahe ho aur main yahaan tumhara intezaar kar raha hoon
or could even challange to God like Aaj khush to bahut hoge tum.
On the other hand it has dialogue for Ravi which is the greatest melodramatic dialogue ever, which is like Mere pass Maa hai.

7. Trishul-1978

Trsihul again a collaboration of Amitabh Bachchan, Yash Chopra & Salim-Javed gives some memorable dialogue, not worth of comparing with Deewar but yes worth comparing with other Bollywood movies. Dialogue like
Main paanch lakh ka sauda karne aaya hoon, aur meri jeb mein paanch futi kaudi bhi nahin hai, Jisne pachees baras apni maa ko har roz thoda thoda marte dekha ho, use maut se kya darr lagega, Mere zakhm jaldi nahin bharte
& many more. Mostly it’s the stylish anger of BigB which has made these dialogue cults.

8. Don-1978

One more Salim-Javed collaboration with Bachchan which is sure shot guarantee of coming in such list. It again has some greatest dialogue like
Don ka intejaar to gyarah mulkon ki Police ko hai magar ek baat jaan lo, Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, naamumkin hai
or other simple lines which Amitabh’s dialogue delivery make memorable like
Mujhe iske joote pasand nahi the,
Tum janti ho ki ye bandook khali hai, main janta hoon ki ye bandook khali hai, magar bahar khadi police nahi janti ki ye bandook khali hai,
Tumhari aunty bahar bahut saare uncle lekar bahar khadi hai

9.  Sharaabi-1984

Again a Bachchan movie, but I can’t help in it. He has the largest number of such dialogues & such movies. Once again in Sharaabi as Vicky he quoted some memorable lines like
Govardhan seth, Samundar mein tairne waale- kouon aur taalabon mein dubki nahin lagaya karte hain,
Muchain hon to Nathulal jaise hon, warna na hon,
Aaj utni bhi sharab nahi maikhane mein, jitni hum chod diya karte the paimane mein etc

10. Mr. India-1987

Mogambo khush hua, is sufficient enough to make this movie in the list. But then there is more like
Gayi bhains paani mein,
Itihaas gawah hain ye hindustani jab bhi aapas main lade hain tab bahar ke kisi ne aake inpe raaj kiya hain.
It has several memorable conversational quotes likes
Kamaal hai Seema ek to ye dikhaaee naheen dete aur upar se poochh rahe hain ki main thheek hoon ki nahin.

11. Agneepath-1990

Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, pura naam. Baap kaa nam Dinanath Chauhan, Maan kaa naam Suhasini Chauhan. Gaaon Maandva. Umar, 36 saal, 9 mahina, yeh 16va ghanta chalu hain.
If you have such an introduction for the lead actor than rest is easy to imagine & even, when the lead is Amitabh then the result is pretty obvious which is,
Sala telephone bhi kya ajeeb cheez banayi hai? Udhar se aadmi sochta kuch hai, bolta kuch aur hai, karta kuch aur hai. Jaise tum log.

12. Saudagar-1991

When the leads are Raj Kumar & Dilip Kumar you just have to give them some decent enough line & they will add the glory to it. Few examples are
Khaash ki tumne hume aawaaz di hoti, toh hum maut ki neend se uthkar chale aate

Sher ko saanp aur bichoo kaata nahin karte, door hi door se nikal jaate hain
Yeh Thakur Rajeshwar Singh, itihaas batata nahin, itihaas likhta hai, itihaas banata hai
Haq hamesha sar jhukake nahin, sar uthake maanga jaata hai

13. Tirangaa-1993

Another dynamo combo of Raj Kumar & Nana Patekar grace the screen in a complete over the top environment right from story telling to character to execution. So these line are pretty obvious as
Apna toh ussool hai, pehle laat, phir baat, uske baad mulaqat,
Hum aankhon se soorma nahin churate, hum aankhen hi chura lete hain,
Pandra sau ki naukri karne waala, ek din tujhe dedh sau ka kafan pehnayega,
And it goes on in entire movie

14. Damini-1993
After Bachchan & Salim-Javed, another combo that hit every time with effective lines, is Santoshi & Sunny Deol. Right from there first collaboration they go on to give such movies. And than come Damini which provide Deol his Second National Award & he has some powerful lines in a special appearance as
Judge order order karta rahega, aur tu pittaa rahega,
Jab ye dhai kilo ka hath kisi pe padta hai toh woh uthta nahin, utth jata hai,
Tarkih par tarikh, Tarkih par tarikh,
Tum kabhie cheediya ghar gaye ho, wahan par pinjhrey me qaid sher par bachhe bhi moong phalliyan phenk ke maarte hain, kabhi khule sher se muqabla kar ke dekho mard hone ka ehsaas nikal jayega,
Chilaaoo mut, nahin toh yeh case yahin rafa dafa kar doonga, nah tarikh nah sunwaiee, seedha insaaf woh bhi taabartod,
Chaddha in logo se kehdo ke Aise kai khiloney baazaar mein milthe hain lekin inse khelne ke liye jo kaleja chahiye voh mard leke paida hota hai,
Chaddha kabhi kabhi bachhe bhi bijli ke taaron se patang nikaal lete hain lekin is case me ulajh ke tune us taar ko chua hai ki aisa jhatka lagega ki zindagi bhar jhatakna bhul jaoge

15. Andaz Apna Apna-1994

One of the first movie which comes in mind where the dialogues make you laugh every time you remember them. Some fine acting as greatest idiots by Aamir & Salman & their unique portrayal by regularly saying Hailaa & Ooi Maa respectively, provide us with lots of such lines like
Teja main hoon mark iddhar hai,
Tum jo ho woh tum nahi koi aur hai, woh jo hai woh woh nahi koi aur hai, main jo hoon woh main nahi, ya main bhi koi aur hoon? Main kaun hoon?
Aap purush nahi, mahapurush hai,
Aankhein nikalke goti khelunga,
Galti se mistake ho gaya

16. Ghatak-1996

Once again Rajkumar Santoshi came up with Sunny & lit the screen with fire provoking dialogues such as
Ye Majdoor ka Haath hai Kaatiya, Lohe ko pighla ke uska aakaar badal deta hai,
Agar Saaton ek baap ke hai to ruk nahin to kasam Ganga maiya ki, ghar mein ghus ke maaroonga saaton ko saath maaroonga, ek saath maaroonga,
Mard banne ka itna shauk hai, to kutto ka sahara lena chhod de

17. Hera Pheri-2000

Hera Pheri is another film after Andaz Apna Apna which makes you laugh with its one liner every time. Specially, Paresh Rawal who introduces new style of his acting from this movie. He delivers in unique style, lines like
Deva re Deva,
Ye Baburao ka style hai,
Devi ka prasad mandir mein milta hai, garage mein nahin,
Utha le re baba, utha le, mere ko nahi re, in dono ko utha le

18. Gadar-2001

Sunny Deol gives biggest hit of his career as well as Hindi cinema. Movie based on Indo-Pak partition & love story at that time period has some memorable lines through out the movie like
Barsaat se bachne ki haisiyat nahin, aur goli baari ki baat kar rahen hai aap log,
Humara Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai, aur zindabad rahega!
Saari duniya jaanti hai humnein batwaare ke waqt aap logon ko 65 crore diye the tab jaake aapke sir pe tirpal aayi thi,
Agar main apne biwi bachoon ke liye sar jhuka sakta hoon, toh main sabke sar kaat bhi sakta hoon,
Ek kagaz par mohor nahi lagegi, toh kya Tara Pakistan nahi jayega. Mujhe mere bachche ko uski Maa se milane mein koi takat koi sarhad nahi rok sakti,
Agar aaj ye jatt bigad gaya, to saikadon ko le marega

19. Dil Chahta Hai-2001

Farhan  Akhtar step rightly in his father’s shoes as perfect script & dialogue writer & giving mainstream cinema a cult youth centered film. It has some fine lines depicting buddy relationship as
Perfection ko improve karna mushkil hota hai,
Ya toh dosti gehri hai, ya yeh photo 3D hai,
Mujhe yakeen hai ki mein sirf isliye janma hoon, ki tumse, sirf tumse pyar kar sakun, tum sirf isliye, ki ek din meri ban jaoo

20. Haasil-2003

Haasil directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, revolve around student politics in UP. Starring Irrfan Khan & Ashutosh Rana, it has some dialectical dialogue like
Maana bhaiya party warty chal rahi hai par hum bhi koi aise waise nahi hai, chaatra neta hain, maare sala sitti dus hazar launda ikkhta ho jaaye, gher kar baith jayegaa,
Ek baat suno pandit, ye goli woli nahi chalni tumse, mantar phook ke maar do saalee,
Kaha tha pandit hame jinda na chhodna ham maarne mein der nahi lagayenge,

Jitna kaha jaaye utna karo, jyada phantam naa bano, warna kam kar diye jaoge,

Maare lappad budhi ghoom jaye tumhari..force jyada hai to bhaag jaayen?

21. Omkara-2006

Another movie with local dialectical dialogue is Omkara starring Ajay Devgan, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello has some fine performance from Ajay & Saif. It has some foul words too, in dialogue as
Bewakoof aur chutiye mein dhaage bhar ka farak hota haiga bhaiya. Dhage ke ingay bewakoof aur ungay, chutiya. Aur jo dhaaga kheeche lo, to kaund haiga bewakoof aur kaund hai chutiya, carod rupiye ka prasan hai bhaiya
Ghagre mein ghus ke ho rahi thi fund raising?
Badi lakdi mat uttha kuptaan,
Sarat ghoron pe lagaate hain kathor, seron pe nahin,
Jo agwai ka kaam kare woh hijra bhaisaab,
Jo mein juttha to kutte ka jaana aur jo main saccha, to teri maa ka khasam bhenchod,
Tu to bewakoof haiga chutiya to insaan shaadi ke baad hove hai,
Teri aur meri kismat to gadhe ke ling se likhi gayi hay

Rang De Basanti another youth centered film starring Aamir Khan has make an hardcore impact on Indian audience. It also have some great lines like
Koi bhi desh perfect nahin hota, usse perfect banana parta hai,
College ki gate ke is paar zindagi ko hum nachate hai, aur gate ke us paar zindagi hume nachati hai,
Zindagi jeene ke sirf do tarike hote hai. Ek jo ho raha hai hone do, bardaasht karte jao, ya phir jimmedari uthao use badalne ki,
Mujhe hamesha lagta tha ki, duniya mein do tarah ke log hote hain, ek jo chupchap maut ka daman tham lete hain aur, ek jo rote chillate hue maut ki or badhte hain, aur phir main tisre kism ke insaan se mila,
Ek paon past mein te ek paon future mein, isiliye to hum aaj pe khade moot rahe hain,
SMS generation, char liney zyada kya bol di lecture lagne lagta hai

In 2010, Balaji Production gave break to Rajat Arora, as a dialogue writer who proves as a revelation.  Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai have too many punch lines as it used to be in the movies of 70’s. Starring Ajay Devgan & Imran Hashmi as 70’s gangster they mouthed some heavy dialogue in form of
Main un cheezon ki smuggling karta hoon, jinki ijaazat sarkar nahi deti, un cheezon ki nahi, jinki ijaazat zameer nahi deta,
Dua mein yaah rakhna,

Himmat bataee nahin, dikhaee jaati hain,
Kashti leharoon se takrayegi toh hi kinare naseeb honge,
Sooch lo, baat khatam karni hai, ya kahani shuru,
Jab dost banake kaam ho sakta hai, toh phir dushman kyun banaye?
Jinki manzilein ek hoti hai woh raaston par hi toh milte hai,
& it goes on like that after every scene.

Agar nahin kaata na, to aaisi jagah katunga, tu confuse ho jayega ki pant pehnu yah ghagra,
Touch to bahuton ne kiya hai, par chua kisi ne nahin,
Jab sharafat ke kapde utarte hai, tab sabse jyaada mazaa sharifon ko hi aata hai,
Jab zindagi ek bar mili hai to, do bar kyun soche,
Public samaan dekhti hai, dukaan nahin,
Holi khelne ka shauk hai, par teri pichkari mein dum nahin,
Filmein sirf teen cheezo ke wajah se chalti hai, entertainment, entertainment, entertainment. Aur main entertainment hoon,
Raat ko barah ki sui ke tarah chipke rehte ho, aur din me che ki tarah,
Kuch logon ka naam unke kaam se hota hain, mera badnaam hoker hua hain

Ye Wasseypur hai, yahan  kabutar bhi ek pankh se udta hai, doosre pankh se apna izzat bachata hai
Tumse na ho payega
Uske moonh mein taar daal ke gaand se nikaal ke issi plot mein patang na udaayi to humra naam nahin
Hum to sochte the ki Sanjeev Kumar ke ghar mein Bachchan paida hue hai, lekin jab aankh khuli to dekha ki hum Shashi Kapoor hai. Bachchan to koi aur hai
Hum zinda hai kyunki hum Saneema nahi dekhte,
Sab ke dimaag mein picture chal rhi hai. Sab saale hero banana chah rahe hai apni-apni picture mein,
E saala jab tak saneema hai hindustan mein log chutiya bante rahenge,
Kyunki asli bahubali aapein hai babusahab
Jis tarah loha lohe ko katata hai, waise hi Chutiya hi to chutiya ko marega
